Low-Carbon Ferro Chrome is an iron-based alloy with a chromium content of ≥60% and a carbon content of ≤0.5%. It is refined by decarburization of high-carbon ferrochrome through the electrosilicothermic method or oxygen top-blown converter. Its low phosphorus and low sulfur characteristics can significantly improve the corrosion resistance and high-temperature strength of stainless steel, heat-resistant steel and special alloys, while reducing carbon emissions during the smelting process. It is widely used in aerospace, chemical equipment and clean energy equipment manufacturing, and is a core additive for green metallurgy and high-end steel production.
