Aluminum-iron is an alloy material composed of aluminum (Al) and iron (Fe), usually with an aluminum content of between 20% and 50% and iron as the base component. The alloy has excellent deoxidizing and desulfurizing capabilities, which can effectively purify the steel and improve the mechanical properties of the steel, while its low melting point also helps to improve smelting efficiency. It is widely used in steel smelting, casting and the production of specialty alloys. In the smelting process of mild steel, stainless steel and heat-resistant steel, ferro-aluminum is often used as an efficient deoxidizer and alloy additive.
