Silicon Carbon Alloy is a high-performance composite material with silicon (65%~75%) and carbon (15%~25%) as the core components. It is made by smelting quartz, coke and iron filings in a high-temperature electric furnace (1800~2000℃). It has both the high temperature resistance of silicon and the conductivity of carbon. Its block form (10-50mm) is used for steelmaking deoxidation and casting carburization, while its powder (100-200 mesh) is used to synthesize silicon carbide or new energy battery materials, significantly improving the purity of molten steel, the wear resistance of castings and the conductivity efficiency of batteries.
